Former “Entrepreneur of the Year” forms GO! Products Upon Acquisition of Grill N Chill

For Immediate Release

Elmhurst, IL January 3, 2003 - Mark A. Dronen, former systems engineer and builder of successful high tech companies over the past 20 years, has formed GO! Products, Inc.  The company’s goal is to acquire underdeveloped brands that feature niche and/or emerging technologies and make them successful.  GO! Products’ first acquisition is the award-winning Grill N Chill®, invented in 1999 by Daniel A. Brennan, President of Deeds Equipment/Indianapolis.

Winner of the Vesta Award as the “Best and Most Innovative Gas Barbeque in America” in 2002 (Hearth & Home Magazine), and highlighted as one of the 10 “coolest” new products on the market (FOX32 TV/Chicago), Grill N Chill’s entirely stainless steel unit features a three-burner gas grill, removable Coleman cooler, and Sony AM/FM/CD player. The unit, which “rides” on patented GO! Products technology, is perfect for backyard barbequing and for tailgating at sports, entertainment, and family events.  It has been featured on the Today Show, HGTV, Discovery Channel, Food Network, and on a primetime edition of The Price is Right.  It is also featured on the Christopher Lowell show (Discovery) as the centerpiece for outdoor grilling.

“The Grill N Chill is an innovative and exciting product,” Dronen said. “I came to know it as an avid tailgater and a guy who loves to cookout year round.  From the moment I was introduced to it, I recognized its promise and its potential for future products.  So much so, I just had to be a part of it.”

As President and CEO of GO! Products, Dronen is responsible for sales and marketing activities.  Michael J. Profita co-founded GO! Products with Dronen and remains onboard as a consultant.  Thomas Mostardi heads up the firms Engineering efforts.

Awarded DuPage Area Association of Business and Industry’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award in 1995 (Dupage County is home to 125 companies in the Fortune 500), Dronen was most recently the founder and President of DC Systems of Oakbrook Terrace, IL. DC Systems was a Management Consulting firm focusing on Technology.  Dronen guided the organization from its inception in 1987 and grew it into a multi-million dollar company employing over 270 full-time employees over 15 years.  Prior to DC Systems, Dronen was a Systems Engineer with EDS where he focused on engineering and manufacturing systems.
